What’s included in the price?
Your plan price includes the clinician evaluation and follow-up, the medication if it is prescribed, injection or dosing supplies, shipping, the GLP-1 lab tests your clinician requires, and care coordination in English or Spanish. The health questionnaire is free, and there is no separate membership fee.
Where is REMEVi available?
REMEVi’s GLP-1 program is available in 49 states and Washington, DC. It is not available in Louisiana. Care happens online, so there is no clinic to visit, and medication ships to your door. The clinician who reviews your questionnaire must be licensed in the state where you receive care. See the state-by-state list.
Can I do everything in Spanish?
Yes. The intake questionnaire, the clinical evaluation, your dosing instructions, the patient portal, billing, and our care coordinators and support are all available in Spanish. You choose English or Spanish when you start, and you can switch languages at any time.
Who prescribes, and which pharmacy fills it?
Clinicians in the OpenLoop network who are licensed in your state review your questionnaire and decide whether a prescription is appropriate. If one is prescribed, a state-licensed US 503A compounding pharmacy prepares it: RedRock Pharmacy (Utah), Health Warehouse (Kentucky), Precision Medicine (New York) or Triad Rx (Alabama). How long until my medication ships?
Median 3.6 days from payment to shipment (1.9–7.0 days for the middle half of orders; 33 orders, July–September 2026). The pharmacy order was placed a median of 0.7 days after payment (41 orders). Carrier delivery time comes after shipment. Your timing can differ.

Meet the care team and verify credentialsA clinician licensed in your state — an MD, DO or nurse practitioner in REMEVi’s clinical network — reviews your questionnaire, current medicines and goals. They decide whether a prescription is appropriate, which medicine and dose, and when to follow up. They may ask for more information, lab work or a live visit first.

Medical weight loss questions, answered.
How does medical weight loss differ from diet and exercise alone?
It adds a prescription. A licensed clinician reviews your health and, if appropriate, prescribes a GLP-1 medication that acts on appetite and fullness signals, alongside the eating and activity changes you keep making. The medication supports those habits rather than replacing them, and it is not right for everyone.
Are there side effects?
Yes. The most common are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation, mostly when starting or increasing a dose. Serious risks include pancreatitis and gallbladder problems, and there is a thyroid C-cell tumor warning. Tell your clinician your full history, and seek urgent care for severe abdominal pain or an allergic reaction.
How long will I need to stay on GLP-1 medication?
There is no fixed length. Your plan term — 24, 12 or 4 weeks — is a payment choice, not a treatment duration. Weight management can need ongoing care, so your clinician reviews benefit, side effects and goals at follow-up to decide whether to continue, adjust or stop.
Can I use medical weight loss while exercising?
Yes. Regular activity fits alongside GLP-1 treatment, and strength training with enough protein is commonly advised to help keep muscle while you lose weight. If you feel dizzy, weak or dehydrated, especially after a dose increase, ease off and tell your clinician before your next workout.
Do I need insurance to start?
No. REMEVi is self-pay, with no insurance or prior authorization. Compounded semaglutide is $159 per 4 weeks on the 24-week plan or $199 month-to-month; tirzepatide is $225 per 4 weeks on the 24-week plan. Care, required program labs and shipping are included, and the questionnaire is free.
What if the medication doesn’t work for me?
Talk to your clinician before changing anything. They review your progress, side effects, how you take the medicine and your goals, and may adjust the dose or discuss another option, such as switching medication. Results are not guaranteed, and refunds follow the published Cancellation & Refund Policy.
