Compounded semaglutide is a prescription medicine that a state-licensed US 503A compounding pharmacy prepares for an individual patient. It is not FDA-approved and is not an approved generic of a branded medicine. The FDA does not review compounded preparations for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. Ask your clinician why an approved medicine cannot meet your medical needs before you choose one.

No one can promise a timeline or an amount. Response varies with the medicine, the dose and how quickly it is increased, your health history and your follow-up. The STEP-1 and SURMOUNT-1 trials of brand-name medicines measured average results over 68 and 72 weeks; those averages are not predictions for a compounded preparation or for you. Your clinician reviews your progress and adjusts the plan at follow-up.

The plan price includes the prescribed medication if a clinician approves it, the clinician evaluation and follow-up, supplies, shipping and bilingual care coordination. Lab tests required by your clinician for the GLP-1 program are included in your plan price. There is no separate membership fee, and the price does not increase when your prescribed dose does. The month-to-month plan is billed every four weeks; the 12-week and 24-week plans are paid upfront.

Compare the exact medicine and formulation, full payment term, membership fees, required labs, shipping, follow-up and renewal rules. Introductory prices can differ from ongoing charges. Check the providers’ current offers directly; a lower advertised figure alone does not establish equivalent care.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and abdominal discomfort can occur with semaglutide. Tell your clinician about persistent symptoms and all medical conditions. Seek urgent care for severe or persistent abdominal pain, signs of a serious allergic reaction, or inability to keep fluids down. A compounded tablet has not undergone FDA premarket safety review.

Your pharmacy and clinician provide instructions for your exact prescription. Confirm the milligram dose, concentration and syringe units before the first injection. Do not copy the units from a different vial, product or online video. Ask for help if any step is unclear.

Only with a plan from your prescriber. There is no direct milligram conversion. Do not combine these medicines or choose the starting dose and timing of a switch yourself.
